The Town Assistant to the Manager, Valerie Nedd, is responsible for Town Human Resources, Payroll, ensures that everyone gets paid, everyone pays us, and that the auditor gets all our financial information. Public Works Department

Police Chief Steve Thomas is charged with insuring the mission of the Oakland Police Department to enhance the quality of life in the Town of Oakland by working cooperatively with citizenry to enforce the laws, preserve the peace, reduce fear and provide for a safe environment, while displaying no partiality to social or political influences.
