WASTE MANAGEMENT NOTICE
OAKLAND TOWN RESIDENTS
HELPFUL HINTS FOR GARBAGE COLLECTION

  • Please place garbage, recycling, and yard waste at curbside the night before pickup and no later than 7:00 AM on collection day!
  • Garbage may be in cans or bags that weigh 50 pounds or less!
  • Recycling materials should be in the recycling containers provided!
  • Yard waste is collected on Wednesdays. Yard waste may be in cans, plastic bags or tied and bundled weighing 50 pounds or less!
  • Tied and bundled yard waste should not be more than 5′ in length or weigh more than 50 pounds!
  • Large items will normally be picked up on the 2nd regular garbage day of each week!
  • Sorry, we cannot pick up items with freon, oil, or gasoline or any paint products! We cannot pick up hazardous materials!
  • Special pick up services for large volumes of material or extremely heavy items are available by calling 407-843-7370. A supervisor will come to your home and negotiate a price for the service you need in advance. Once agreed he will coordinate the special pick up.
  • Should your garbage, yard waste, or other material not be prepared for collection properly a tag will be left by our driver with instructions and the material will be collected at a later date when it meets the above requirements!
