Water Conservation
You may use hose-end sprinklers and automatic irrigation systems only during the following times:
EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 1, 2007 the TOWN HAS NEW RULES FOR IRRIGATION!
WATERING TIMES 12:01 a.m. – 10 a.m. 4 p.m. - Midnight ZONES
Zone 1 Johns Landing subdivision including South Remington Road and Sunoco.
Zone 2 Old Town streets including Oakland Pointe, Southern Oaks and Winter’s Landing Subdivisions and commercial properties north of SR 50.
Zone 3 Oakland Nature Preserve, Johns Cove and Trail side subdivisions the remaining westerly portions of the Town to the Lake County Line.
You may wash your car and irrigate anytime only with hoses equipped with automatic shutoff device. You are required to have a water waiver in advance if you are planting new sod. You may only water on the days and times indicated above please ask your lawn or irrigation companies to plan accordingly.
