General Functions: The Board of Zoning Adjustment and Appeals considers application for variances from the Town's Zoning Code. These typically include dimensional variances (setback, lot width, and lot area variances), and appeals of determinations by the Town Planner. This board is quasi-judicial, meaning their decisions carry the weight of law. An appeal of a decision by the Board of Zoning Adjustment and Appeals is carried out in Circuit Court.

Meetings: If a meeting is necessary, the Board will typically meet on the first Monday of the month. Meetings are always at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex.
