Planning and Zoning Board
The Oakland Planning and Zoning Board is comprised of five citizen members. Members are appointed by the Town Commission, with the Chairman and Vice Chairman elected by the Board membership.
Mission
To ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens concerning all aspects of land development and the construction and inspection of buildings through the consistent implementation and enforcement of the Town's zoning laws and building codes.
Meetings
The Planning and Zoning Board meets every Third Tuesday at 6:30 PM, in the Town Meeting Hall.
